Born April 13, 1948 in Goldsboro, PA; he was the son of the late Charles and Emma (Stare) Yinger; and preceded in death by two brothers, Gary and his twin, Charles Yinger.
Surviving is his loving wife of 54 years, Linda (Watts) Yinger; two daughters, Denise Fure, (Michael) and Jennifer Yinger; son, Seth Yinger, (Caitlin); two grandchildren, Emma and Michael Fure; two sisters, Miriam Altland and Lois Loss; numerous nieces and nephews; cousins and friends.
Denny was a proud and lifelong member of the IBEW Local 143, Harrisburg. Where he served 24 years as the business agent then manager.
Denny was a member of the Breath of Life Ministries, Harrisburg.
Denny was a graduate of Cedar Cliff High School, class of 1966 and the Williamsport Area Community College for electrical construction.
Denny was an avid hunter and fisherman, he loved to spend time at his family’s cabin in Potter County and enjoyed the family vacations up and down the East Coast.
Denny was selfless and humble, always willing to help a neighbor and enjoyed the simple things in life. Denny was a proud father, grandfather and loving husband, he truly will be missed by his family and friends.
Services will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, February 12, 2022 in the Neill Funeral Home, 3501 Derry St., Harrisburg. A visitation will start at 1:00 PM Saturday until the time of the service at the funeral home.
