Born February 23, 1932 in Pittman; she was the daughter of the late Frank J. and Cicily C. (Wetzel) Wehry.
Surviving is her husband of 70 years, Albert S. Sporik; 3 daughters, Eileen Bargo, Christine Sears and Ann Marie Carls; son, Michael Sporik; 9 grandchildren; and 9 great-grandchildren.
Dertha was a graduate of Ashland High School, class of 1949.
Dertha was a retired secretary for Sporik Roofing and a former Telephone Operator for Bell Telephone and a member of Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church.
The family wishes to give a special thanks to the staff who cared for Dertha at Arden Courts.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10:30 AM Tuesday, January 9, 2024 at Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church, 6150 Allentown Blvd., Harrisburg. Burial will be at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery. A viewing will be from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Monday, January 8, 2024 in Neill Funeral Home, 3501 Derry St., Harrisburg and 9:30 AM Tuesday until the time of the service at the church.
