Dianna L. Christian

Dianna (Jill) L. Christian, 74, of Harrisburg, passed away on Wednesday March 8, 2017 at the Hershey Medical Center. Born on February 9th, 1943. She was the daughter of the late Glenn R. and Ruth E. (Minor) Shover of Harrisburg. She was preceded in death by her husband Detective John R. Christian Jr and two sisters Jacqueline R. Stuart, and Linda Starr. She leaves to survive her a son John R. Christian III, two daughters Debra Christian (Fiancé of Michael Terrell), daughter Denise Malone (Randall). Surviving Grandchildren are Granddaughter Breann Malone of Harrisburg, Grandson John R. Christian IV of Sinking Springs and Great Grandchild Javon Malone. She is also survived by her beloved companion Robert Steinmeier and his family of Harrisburg and her beloved sister in law Dorothy Christian, also of Harrisburg. She was a graduate of John Harris High School class of 1961. Jill was employed at D&H Distributing, Little Peoples Day Care and Club Demonstration Services at Costco.

Jill was a member of the Verhovay Club, and the Lawnton Legion Ladies Auxillary. She was an avid sports fan whose favorite teams were the John Harris Pioneers, Baltimore Colts, Pittsburgh Steelers, Philadelphia Phillies and her great grandson's Hershey Golden Bears. Jill also loved to dance and vacation at the shore.

A viewing is scheduled for Wednesday March 14, 2017 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Neill Funeral Home, 3501 Derry St. Harrisburg.
