Dilys Emily Lyter

Born December 28, 1933, in Taylor, Pennsylvania, she was the daughter of the late Fred and Winifred Edmunds. Dilys was preceded in death by her late husband, Edward Lyter, her grandson, Harry Lyter, her sister “Connell” and an infant brother, Philip.

Dilys is survived by her son, Thomas Lyter; a grandson, David Lyter; one great-granddaughter, Kylie; and her sisters, Betty Gray and Edna Frye, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Before retiring, Dilys was an engineer at Bell Telephone. She enjoyed playing the piano, singing in the church choir, traveling and animals; especially dogs. She was a member of Trinity Church of New Cumberland.

A visitation will be held Friday, October 13, 2023, 1:00-1:30 pm, followed by a memorial service at 1:30 pm, in Neill Funeral Home, 3501 Derry Street, Harrisburg. Inurnment will take place in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens, Harrisburg.

As to per her wishes, in lieu of flowers, she would like donations to be made to Hospice For All Seasons or the Humane Society of Harrisburg.
