Dolores L. "Dodie" (Forlizzi) Verbos, 90, of Harrisburg, passed away Wednesday, July 30, 2025 at her home.

She was a homemaker and after her family was raised she retired from the PA Fish and Boat Commission.

She was the widow of Frank "Duxie" Verbos and preceded in death by her son, Frank Verbos.

She is survived by her 4 daughters, Diana Kegris (Dave), Dee McPherson, Natalie Yetter (Bill) and Michelle Corrigan (John); 13 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and her sister, Zita Prowse.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 12:30 PM Wednesday, August 6, 2025 at St. Margaret Mary Alacoque Catholic Church, 2800 Paxton Church Rd., Harrisburg. Burial will be in Resurrection Cemetery. Viewings will be held 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Tuesday, August 5, 2025 and 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM Wednesday, August 6, 2025 at the Neill Funeral Home, 3501 Derry St., Harrisburg.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Bishop McDevitt High School, 1 Crusader Dr., Harrisburg, PA 17111.

Dodie is also survived by thirteen grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren. In addition to her parents; Domenick and Grace (Sgrignouli) Forlizzi, Dodie was preceded in death by her husband, Frank "Duxie" Verbos and her son, Frank Verbos.
