Mrs. Dorothy Anna Dudick Keffer

Dorothy A. Keffer, of Harrisburg, passed away at home on Monday, October 25, 2010, born in St. Clair, PA, a graduate of Mercy School of Nursing, Pittsburgh, and a retired Registered Nurse from Harrisburg Hospital. She was a member of St. Catherine Laboure Catholic Church.

She is survived by her husband, William H. Keffer; son, William J. Keffer, his wife, Jolene, of Harrisburg; 2 daughters, Colleen Keffer-Wallace, of Carlisle and Michele Keffer, her partner, Katherine Homrok, of Pittsburgh; 4 grandchildren, Danielle, Mackenzie, Evan and Kristin; and a sister, Elizabeth Gursky, of St. Clair. She was preceded in death by her brothers, John Dudick, The Most Rev. Michael Dudick, Joseph Dudick and George Dudick; and sisters, Ann Tizekker, Mary O’Brien and Irene Giemza.

A visitation will be held 7:00 to 9:00 PM Wednesday, October 27, 2010 in Neill Funeral Home Inc, 3501 Derry St., Harrisburg. Recitation of the Rosary will be at 8:30 PM. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 12:30 PM Thursday, October 29, 2010 in St. Catherine Laboure Catholic Church; burial will follow in Resurrection Cemetery.
