Ernest "Egypt" Alexander Warren

Ernest Alexander Warren, affectionately known as “Egypt” was the third child born to the late Daniel and Shirley Warren. He was born in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania on June 29, 1965. Ernest graduated from John Harris High School in 1985. Ernest also attended DeVry University and HACC Harrisburg Area Community College. Ernest joined the armed forces of the Navy where he served four years in Norfolk Virginia. Ernest loved the idea of being an entrepreneur in several different arenas. Ernest attended Faith Chapel C.O.G.I.C. under the leadership of the late Pastor Belgium N. Baxter. Ernest enjoyed traveling, watching football with his favorite cousin Vincent. He had a passion for cars and his favorite football franchises, the Washington Redskins and the San Francisco 49ers. Ernest leaves to mourn his brothers Vernon Soles and Gary Warren, his eldest brother David Lee Soles which preceded him in death, all of Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. His aunts Geneva Mills and (Lavester) of Harrisburg Pennsylvania and Ophelia Dames of Wilmington, Delaware. A host of relative’s nieces, nephews, cousins and friends to celebrate the memory of his life. A viewing will be held on Friday, November 22, 2019 from 10:00 am -11:30, am at Neill Funeral Home, 3501 Derry Street, Harrisburg, Pennsylvania 17111, followed by a service, in the funeral home. Interment will be at the Indiantown Gap, with full military honors.

    Egypt was preceded in death by his parents; Daniel and Shirley Warren, and his brother, David Lee Soles.

I remember Ernest from Lexington Street. I lived close to the Family during good times on Lexington. My heart hurt when hearing his life was cut short so soon! My sincere condolences to the Family and many Friends. Still hard to accept Ernest is no longer here. Rest In Peace Ernest! 🙏 Prayers to the Family during this difficult time.

We all knew Ernie and family from Lexington street where some of us lived back in the day . I can recall my neice (Angie) and I (Peaches) went to North Carolina one summer and we were at this club that was in the woods and a guy passed us and my neice Angie said to me auntie that looks like Ernest and I said sure do so when he came back by we said Ernest is that you and we all just started laughing because it was him and he was so glad to see us as we were to see him Those were the days.... We are sending our condolences to the Family you are in our thoughts and Prayers.
