Ernestine L. Clouser

Ernestine Lanza Clouser, 94, passed peacefully at her home on Monday January 16, 2023. She was born in Steelton on March 24, 1928 to Louis P. Lanza and Clorinda Acri Lanza. She was predeceased by her husband James O. Clouser, her parents, sisters Rose Mills, Jessie Lanza, Lillian Pugliese, Elva Wagner, Irene LaVia, and Jean Melodini. She is survived by her sister Anita Emery of Harrisburg, several step children, as well as many nieces and nephews. She was retired from the Steelton Highspire School District and was a member of St. Catherine Laboure Church. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11:00 AM Friday, January 20, 2023 at St. Catherine Laboure Church, 4000 Derry Street, Harrisburg, PA. Burial will be in Holy Cross Cemetery. A visitation will be from 10:00 AM Friday until the time of the service at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to her church or a charity of your choice.
