Foster D. "Knuppy" Knupp, 86, of Harrisburg, passed away Saturday, July 3, 2021, at the UPMC Osteopathic Hospital, Harrisburg. Born December 29, 1934, in Harrisburg; he was the son of the late Roy D. and Iona V. (Mumma) Knupp, Sr; and preceded in death by his wife, Josephine "Jo" Knupp. Knuppy was a retired employee from the Harrisburg Post Office with 32 years of service and served in the U.S. Army reserves at Fort Knox, KY. Knuppy was a member of the Postal Employees Rod and Gun Club, Rock Lodge Hunting Club, American Legion Post 730, VFW Post 1718, Progress Fire Co. Home Association, Fifth Ward Republican Club, Loyal Order of the Moose Lodge 3000, NRA and NARFE. Surviving is his stepson, Norman P. Magaro; 2 granddaughters, Gabrielle Phillips and Danielle Bouse; 5 great-grandchildren, Payton Marie, Isabella, Parker, Owen and Paxton; brother, Roy Knupp; and sister, Shirley Cassel. A Funeral Service will be held 11:00 AM, Saturday, July 10, 2021, in the Neill Funeral Home, 3501 Derry St., Harrisburg. Burial will be in Resurrection Cemetery. A visitation will be from 10:00 AM, Saturday, until the time of the service at the funeral home.
