

Francis (Frank) J. Elsner, 82, of Cornwall, PA passed away on Dec. 15 at Cornwall Manor due to complications related to a fall in his home. Frank was born on January 29, 1933 in Cincinnati, OH. He served in the US Marine Corps in Korea from 1952 to 1955 and achieved the rank of Sergeant. In 1959 he graduated from Seton Hall University. Frank had a long and successful career as a Pharmaceutical Sales Representative for Pfizer Labs, primarily calling on physicians in Philadelphia-area hospitals and medical offices until he retired in 2000. He lived in the Barclay Farm neighborhood of Cherry Hill, NJ for 42 years and resided in Ocean City, NJ, as well. Frank was involved for a long time in the Boy Scouts, first as Scoutmaster for Boy Scout Troop 143 in Cherry Hill then as Chairman of the Camden County Eagle Board of Review. He was also an active parishioner at Holy Ghost Byzantine Catholic Church in Philadelphia for many years as Holy Name President, Usher, Bingo worker, Choir member, and chairman of numerous committees and church functions.
Survivors include Ann, Frank's wife of 56 years, sons Kurt (Barbara) and Matthew and daughters Cindy and Andrea (Tim Haritan) and grandchildren Marianne, Krystyna, Andrew, Alex, Emily, Silvia, Allegra, Tyler, Madison and Nicholas. Frank was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Elizabeth Elsner, sister, Miriam Jorgensen, and brother, James Elsner.
A viewing will be held at 10:00 AM Saturday, December 19, 2015 followed by the Funeral Devine Liturgy at 11:30 AM at St. Ann's Byzantine Catholic Church, 5408 Locust Lane, Harrisburg. Burial will be held at 12:30 PM Monday, December 21, 2015 at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family prefers donations be made in Frank's memory to Boys' Town, 14100 Crawford St., Boys Town, NE 68010.
