She was born in Harrisburg on March 16th, 1938. She was the daughter of the late William and Mary (Breach) Felker. She was preceded in death by her two brothers, Alvin and William Felker, and her sister, Shirley Lockhart.
She is survived by her husband of 61 years, Michael J. Fry; her daughters Mimi Forlizzi (John Knight) and Tricia Deardorff (Thomas), and her son, Michael C. Fry; five grandchildren, Joseph Forlizzi, Angela Gulotta, David Seiple, Tanner Deardorff, and Owen Deardorff; three great-grandchildren; and seven nieces and nephews.
She was an employee of the Pennsylvania Department of Revenue for 22 years. She was a parishioner at St. Margaret Mary Parish. Trudy was a past board member of the Penn Gardens Civic Club. She was also a chairmen for the Holy Name of Jesus Festival, a longtime volunteer for their Calendar Club, and was involved in various activities at Bishop McDevitt High School. She was an avid sports fan. Among her favorite teams were the Pittsburgh Steelers, Philadelphia Phillies, and Notre Dame football.
Trudy enjoyed spending time with family and friends, shopping, and collecting angel knick-knacks.
A memorial mass will be celebrated at St. Margaret Mary Church, 2800 Paxton Church Rd., Harrisburg, PA 17112, on Friday, October 18th at 11:00 am. A gathering will follow at the Knights of Columbus, 145 Peach St. Harrisburg, PA 17112.
