Gladys Wilbert

She was married for 62 years to her late husband, Meade G. Wilbert, who passed away on September 19, 2010.

Born in Harrisburg, she was the daughter of the late Earl W. Waltz and Jennie (Eisenberger) Waltz. She was a 1946 graduate of William Penn High School.

Gladys spent her life devoted to her family. She loved her Sunday afternoon family gatherings and many years of family vacations to the Jersey Shore.

Surviving are her 4 children; Rebecca Pendrak, wife of John, of Harrisburg, Theodore Wilbert of Hummelstown, Debra Caltagirone, wife of Mark, of Reading, and Michael Wilbert, husband of Karen (Barlick) Wilbert, of Harrisburg. Gladys has 10 wonderful grandchildren, Taunya, Jen, Clif, Tim, Tiffany, Brian, Jason, Timmy, Andrea and Allison and 6 wonderful great grandchildren; Zachary, Jakob, Sammy, Gabriella, Lily and Addison. Gladys is also survived by her sister Dorothy W. Pease, niece, Maria Wolfe, wife of Alan, of Lebanon and family Alan and Alaina, her nephew Gene Gregorits, of Harrisburg, and wife Donna and family; the Hoch family, the Carnes family, the Shambaugh family, the Wilbert family and the Miller family. She was predeceased by a sister, Lillian Gregorits and brother Earl R. Waltz.

Funeral Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, August 20, 2011 in the Neill Funeral Home, 3501 Derry Street, Harrisburg, with a viewing beginning at 9:00 a.m. Burial will be in Shoops Cemetery.
