Gloria A. McCloskey

Gloria A. McCloskey, 75, of Harrisburg, passed away, Saturday, April 14, 2012, in Hershey Medical Center surrounded by her family. Born March 9, 1937, in Harrisburg, she was the daughter of the late Angelo and Grace (Hutcheson) Pomone and preceded in death by her husband of 38 years, Thomas A. McCloskey; 3 brothers, Warren McKeever, James and Robert Pomone; 3 sisters, Adelaide Boyer, Marian Harlan and Margaret Cichy. She enjoyed playing bingo and was also a member of Lawnton Legion Post 998. Gloria loved flowers, cooking for her family and friends, and The University of Notre Dame Fighting Irish.

Surviving children are Michael T. McCloskey, partner Rick Henton, of Harrisburg; Michele Graves, of Phoenix; Thomas M. McCloskey, wife Diana, of Harrisburg; Luigia D’Angelo, of East Pointe, MI; Frank D’Angelo, of Esterdido, CA; Tony D’Angelo, of Guam; 3 sisters, Nancy Pomone, Barbara Wolfe, and Linda Burge; Grandchildren: Tara Fuhrman, Brandon Fuhrman, Nicole Fernandez, John Graves, and Samantha McCloskey, and 7 great-grandchildren.

A Memorial Service will be held 11:00a.m. on Saturday, April 21, 2012 in Neill Funeral Home, 3501 Derry Street, Harrisburg with a viewing 1 hour prior to the service.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to help defray the cost of the funeral.
