Grace Gertrude Shatto, 87, of Harrisburg, passed away Monday, January 6, 2020 at Bridges at Bent Creek surrounded by her family.

Born August 14, 1932 in Harrisburg, she was the daughter of the late Marlin and Grace G. (Bingaman) Shatto; and preceded in death by her brother, Irvin Shatto Sr.; and nephew, Irvin Shatto Jr.

She is survived by nieces and nephews, Barbara Blosser (George), John Shatto, Robert Shatto (Sue), Susan Danner (Mike) and Jacque Shatto.

Grace retired in 1998 from Nationwide Insurance with over 48 years of service and a graduate of the former John Harris High School, class of 1950.

She was a member of Derry Street United Methodist Church, its Senior Citizens Group, serving as Payroll Treasurer and member of the Endowment Fund Committee and Administrative Board.

Grace was a life member of Penn State Alumni Association, a member of the Harrisburg Chapter of Penn State Alumni Association and Back the Lions.

Grace enjoyed bowling, traveling, high school and college basketball and football and was an avid Penn State football fan.

Funeral Service will be held 11:00 AM Saturday, January 11, 2020 in the Neill Funeral Home, 3501 Derry St., Harrisburg. Burial will be in Churchville Cemetery. A viewing will be held from 10:00 AM Saturday until the time of the service at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice For All Seasons, 280 S. Hill Dr., Grantville, PA 17028.
