Helen L. Foster

Born September 1914 in Harrisburg, she was the daughter of the late William F. and Elizabeth C. (Barrick) Kiehl; and preceded in death by her husband, Norman A. Foster; and her sister, Ruth Kiehl Kuhn.

She was a graduate of John Harris High School and a long-time member of Calvary United Methodist Church, Harrisburg.

Helen was a bookkeeper for many years and retired from the United Way of Central PA. She was an avid gardener and will be remembered for her love of baking, knitting and tatting.

She is survived by several nieces and nephews; several grand nieces and grand nephews.

A viewing will be held at 10:00 AM Thursday, May 17, 2012 followed by the funeral service at 11:00 AM in the Neill Funeral Home Inc., 3501 Derry St., Harrisburg. Burial will be in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Calvary United Methodist Church, 4700 Locust Lane, Harrisburg, PA 17109.
