Jack (Earl) F. Crago III

Jack (Earl) F. Crago III passed away on Friday, April 1, 2016 with his loving wife and daughters by his side. He was born in Watertown, NY on May 14, 1951 and was raised in Huntingdon, PA. He spent the majority of his career serving the public at the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, working for the Horse Racing Commission, the Office of the Auditor General and he retired from the Department of Revenue as the Director of Motor Fuel Taxes. He and his wife were married on November 23, 1984 in Winchester, VA. In addition to enjoying the beach with his wife, Jack was an avid golfer and outdoorsman. "A man's man" who loved hiking, fishing, kayaking, grouse hunting and long drives through the country in his convertible. He is preceded in death by his father, Earl F. Crago II, his brother George Crago and his sister Doreena Kahl. He is survived by his wife, Carol, step-daughters, Timi Lesperance and Jamie Cooper, granddaughters, Julia and Melody Lesperance, his mother, Lucille Crago, sister, Marie Reed and his brother Robert Crago. A visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 6, 2016 from 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM with a memorial service at 12:00 pat Neill Funeral Home, 3501 Derry St, Harrisburg, immediately followed by a luncheon at the Blue Ridge Country Club on Linglestown Rd, Harrisburg. In lieu of flowers, the family request that donations be made in Jack's name to the University of Maryland Greenbaum Cancer Center or the Dauphin County SPCA.
