James Michael Pagliaro Jr.

James M. Pagliaro, 89, of Paxtang, passed away Friday, August 14, 2015, in Arden Courts. Born February 27, 1926 in Trenton, NJ; he was the son of the late James M. and Garnett G. (Lawnton) Pagliaro; he is preceded in death by his wife of 70 years, Sara Jane (Bailey) Pagliaro; and his sister, Gloria Pagliaro. Surviving are 3 sons, James M. Pagliaro III, wife, Bonnie, Barry L., wife Connie, and Thomas A. Pagliaro, wife, Diane; 6 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; and 2 sisters, Elaine Deichmiller and Janice Noble. He was a retired owner and operator of Central State Distributors, Harrisburg and a U.S. Army veteran of WWII. Jim loved to fish; he fished in Costa Rica, Alaska and his favorite, Canada. Funeral Service will be held 1:00 PM Wednesday, August 19, 2015 in Neill Funeral Home, 3501 Derry St., Harrisburg. Burial will be in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens. A viewing will be held 12:00 PM Wednesday until the time of the service at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, of Greater PA, 2595 Interstate Dr., Suite 101, Harrisburg, PA 17110. The family would like to thank the staff at Arden Courts for their care and support through their father's illness.
