Born January 2, 1947 in Harrisburg; she was the daughter of the late Ralph and Alice (Brown) Troutman; and preceded in death by her brother, Vernon Troutman.
Surviving is her husband of 56 years, James L. Dinger, Jr.; two sons, Jeffrey Dinger and Joel Dinger (Kimberly); 3 grandchildren, Morgan Dinger, Zackary Dinger and Tegan Dinger; and a sister, Beverly Lenker.
Joan was a retired Licensed Practical Nurse where she worked for the Community General Osteopathic Hospital and various Nursing Homes in the Harrisburg area.
Funeral Service will be held 11:00 AM Wednesday, November 15, 2023 in the Neill Funeral Home, 3501 Derry St., Harrisburg. Burial will be in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens. A viewing will be from 10:00 AM Wednesday until the time of the service at the funeral home.
