Joanne Elizabeth Bownaze

She was the daughter of the late John R. Myers (Anne) and Norma V. Ream. She is survived by her husband, the love of her life, Anthony R. Bownaze, with whom she spent 63 wonderful years. Joanne loved spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. She will be missed immensely by her three daughters, Bonnie Keating (Tom), of North Carolina, Donna Sweeney, of Etters and Jody Harman (Matt), of Mt. Holly Springs; her five grandchildren, Cierra (Luke) Stelzer, Bobby and Kristina Sweeney, Mackenzie and Ally Harman; and her six great-grandchildren, Sofia, Sayde, Eli, Jude, Noah and Payton; and her brother, Curt L. Strausbaugh.

Joanne retired from the New Cumberland Army Depot and was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church.

She touched all of those she met, as she loved people and never thought of anyone as a stranger. She will be remembered fondly for her warm spirit and inviting nature.

Services and Burial will be held at the convenience of the family.
