Johanna C. Kashi

She was born July 18, 1946 in Hazelton; she was the daughter of the late Michael and Solome “Sally” (Padwelka) Skarp; and preceded in death by her husband, George M. Kashi; 2 sisters, Frances Skarp and Constance Curry; and brother, Richard Skarp.

She is survived by 2 daughters and a son; Nichole Harris and husband Stephen Harris of Emmaus, Dr. Jessica Ward and husband Dr. Chad Ward of Harrisburg, Michael A. Kashi and wife Julie Baugher of Aspers; 8 grandchildren, Sophia, Julia and Benjamin Harris, Carter and Ellie Ward, and Natalie, Miles and Simon Kashi; and sister, Sheryl Kontrovitch, of Hazelton.

She was a member of St. Ann’s Byzantine Catholic Church.

On Tuesday, October 10, 2017 at St. Ann’s Byzantine Catholic Church, 5408 Locust Lane, Harrisburg, a Wake will begin at 9:00am in the chapel. The Funeral Divine Liturgy will follow at 11:00am. Interment will be held privately at Resurrection Cemetery.
