

JOHN E. DELLINGER, SR., 59, of Steelton, passed away Wednesday, January 18, 2017, peacefully while sleeping in his home. He was born January 25, 1957, in Harrisburg, the son of the late Cecil A. and Vivian (Wright) Dellinger. He is survived by his children, John E. Dellinger II, Christopher L. Dellinger, Krystal M. Garcia with husband Gabriel Garcia, and Eric A. Dellinger; 15 grandchildren; Maraja Sky, John Emory lll, Parrish Christopher, Christian Parker, Cherrish Phenell, Hope Mae, Joshua Leroy, Richard Michael, Cora Marie, Abigail Elizabeth, Jace Echo, Jaxxen Alejandro, Savvy Lorraine, Vivian Serene, and due any day Isaac Emory, all whom he loved wholeheartedly.
He was an employee of Sisco’s Spaghetti House and Pizzeria of Harrisburg, where he gained friendships that became family over the 35 + years of service. He then followed his dream and continued to provide the best pizza in Central PA at Phat Albert’s Pizzeria in Lewisberry. John enjoyed spending time with his family, friends, and customers. He had a very large heart and would give the shirt off of his back for many. He also had a great love for the outdoors, whether hunting, fishing, or camping. He was a very strong man who sure passed his trait to his children. His legacy will live on.
A service will be held from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm, Monday, January 30, 2017, at 1721 Rocky Rd, Dauphin, PA 17018, with a celebration to follow into the moonlight.
