

Keith L. Baker, 61, of Harrisburg, passed away Monday, July 5, 2021, in UPMC Community General Osteopathic Hospital, Harrisburg. Born in Phillipsburg, PA, on November 1, 1959, he was the son of the late Rev. Truman and Margaret Baker of State College. He was a graduate of Bellefonte Area High School, Class of 1977, and received a B.S. in Accounting from Elizabethtown College in 1998. In his early years in Hublersburg, PA, Keith was a member of the United Church of Christ, where he participated in youth fellowship, softball, and taught Sunday School. He began his career with the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania at the Children’s Hospital, Elizabethtown, and held various positions at the Commonwealth over his 35 years there. His final position was as the supervisor in the Comptroller Operations Bureau of Quality Assurance, Payment Review Section.
Keith is survived by his partner of 24 years, Patrick Forester, of Harrisburg; his sister, Elva Kerstetter, and his nephew, Brian Kerstetter, both of Bellefonte.
Keith and Patrick loved roller coasters, biking, and walking. He will be dearly missed by so many friends and family members who loved the way he brightened up even the darkest room. Everyone looked forward to his Facebook posts for a good laugh and loved his positive attitude and the way he made everyone feel welcome.
Celebrations of Keith's life will take place in Harrisburg and Centre County at a later date.
