Kenneth E. W. Dupler Sr., beloved husband, father and grandfather, 63, of Enola, PA died on Sunday, March 31, 2013 at Holy Spirit Hospital, Camp Hill. Born on October 28, 1949 in Harrisburg, PA, he was the son of the late George W. and Helen J. (Reynolds )Dupler.
Kenneth was a graduate of William Penn High School and served in the U.S. Air Force during Vietnam. He retired from the New Cumberland Army Depot where he worked in logistics, then later retired from custodial services at Camp Hill School District. Kenneth was actively employed as a clerk with the State Department of Charities. Throughout his life, he enjoyed volunteering his time with New Cumberland Youth Baseball where he served in various roles.
Kenneth is preceded in death by his brother, John (Jack) Crider, sister Betty, son, Kenneth Jr, and grandson, Alex. He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Hazel Dupler, of Enola; four sisters, Sharon, Shirley, Helen, and Delores, sons, Eugene and wife Rose of Milesburg and Michael and wife Tina of New Cumberland; his daughter, Kristin of Halifax; and seven grandchildren, Kenneth III, Jonathan, Thomas, Amber, Bryanna, Liam and Austin.
Funeral services will be at 11:00 am in the Neill Funeral Home 3501 Derry Street Harrisburg. Burial with full military honors will be in East Harrisburg Cemetery. Viewing will be Saturday from 10:00am till time of service.
