He was born January 3, 1943 in Shamokin; he was the son of Leroy and Miriam (Boughner) McCormick.
Surviving are his 2 sons, Andre and Joshua McCormick; 2 granddaughters, Hailey and Lilly McCormick; 2 brothers, Daniel and William McCormick; and 2 sisters, Sherry Sehar and Janet Scott, all of Harrisburg.
Lennie was a retired employee from the US Post Office, Harrisburg and was a US Army veteran of the Vietnam War; he was a member of the Big Red One, the First Division Recon.
Funeral Service will be held 11:00 AM Friday, November 24, 2017 in the Neill Funeral Home, 3501 Derry St., Harrisburg. Burial will be in Indiantown Gap. A visitation will be held from 10:30 AM till the time of the service at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the funeral home to help with the cost.
