

She was born April 14, 1924 in Harrisburg, daughter of the late Charles and Elizabeth (Stanton) Heilig.
Margaret was a graduate of William Penn High School Class of 1942; she was employed at Olmstead Air Force base and retired from New Cumberland Army Depot. She was a member of NARFE (National Active and Retired Federal Employees Association), a 25 year plus member of ABWA (American Business Women’s Association) twice nominated and receiving two” Woman of the Year” awards.
Margaret loved the Lord, she loved to travel attend shows and was an avid bowler. She never had an unkind word to say of others. She will be missed by all who loved her.
She was preceded in death by five brothers: Walter, Simon, Charles, John and Winfield and four sisters: Ida, Elizabeth, Pearl, and Mary.
She is survived by several nieces and nephews and many friends too numerous to mention and her beloved cat, Joy.
Funeral service will be conducted 11:00 Tuesday, April 19, 2016 from Neill Funeral Home, 3501 Derry St. Harrisburg, with viewing one hour prior to service. Interment will be in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens.
Memorial contributions may be made to American Heart Assoc., Hospice of central PA or The Humane Society of Harrisburg.
