Margaret (Peg) Ditty Reardon age 88, passed away peacefully on August 30, 2019. She spent the first 25 years of her life living in Harrisburg, graduating from Catholic High in 1949. She spent the next 50 years in the home her husband built in Lower Paxton Township. She relocated at age 75 to live with her daughter in Carlisle. She was a founding member of Holy Name of Jesus Roman Catholic Church and active in the CCW. She also volunteered for Meals on Wheels for 10 years. She was predeceased by her parents, Edward and Catharine (Smith) Ditty, her husband, William P Reardon, sister, Lorraine Winans and her daughter, Theresa Steltzer. Surviving are her sons Thomas (Linda) of Carlisle, Ronald (Susan) of Baltimore, Michael of Mt. Joy, daughter Lori Oxenford (Robert) of Carlisle, five grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren. Viewing will be on Wednesday, September 4, 2019 from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. in the narthex at St. Patrick Church, 85 Marsh Drive, Carlisle, PA 17015 followed by the celebration of Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 at the church. Burial will follow at Resurrection Cemetery.
