Marie A. Calhoun

Marie A. Calhoun, 96, of Harrisburg, passed away Monday, September 22, 2014 at Frey Village, Middletown. She was born November 10, 1917 in Waynesboro, PA. She was a retired Buyer for the former Bowman's Department Store and a charter member of the Lutheran Church of the Good Shepherd, Harrisburg. She was the widow of Chester D. Calhoun; and preceded in death by her daughter-in-law, Patricia A. Calhoun. Surviving are two sons, Barry Calhoun, wife, Jill, and Garry Calhoun, wife, Jeanne, both of Harrisburg; 4 granddaughters, Jennifer Laudenslager, husband, Mark, Amanda Frank, husband, Michael, Nicole Calhoun and Kelly Calhoun; and her great grandson, Riley Laudenslager. Funeral Service will be held 11:00 AM Friday, September 26, 2014 in the Neill Funeral Home, 3501 Derry St., Harrisburg. Burial will be in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens. A viewing will be held Friday from 10:00 AM until the time of the service at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Lutheran Church of the Good Shepherd, 3700 Rutherford St., Harrisburg, PA 17111.
