Born August 25, 1929, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Mary Spagnolo and preceded in death by her husband, Vincent Minnici; her brother, Phillip Spagnolo; and four sisters, Minnie Macri, Rose Mazzoni, Helen Larosa and Eleanor Rodemaker.
Mary is survived by her three sons, Joseph (Rosanne), Anthony and Vincent (Tami); her grandchildren, Angela Dawson, Phillip Minnici, Katelyn Marzari and Krysten Minnici; great-grandchildren, Madelyn and Luke Dawson and Leo Marzari; her sister-in-law, Angeline Minnici; and her beloved dog, Gracie.
Mary grew up in Shipoke and graduated from Catholic High School, class of 1949.
Mary worked at G. C. Murphy’s at the Harrisburg East Mall as a waitress for 20 years before retiring.
Mary showed her love for her family with all of her wonderful cooking. Her Sunday dinners of spaghetti and meatballs are legendary. She always made enough to feed the family for a week.
A viewing will be held from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM Friday at the Neill Funeral Home, 3501 Derry St., Harrisburg followed by the Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11:00 AM Friday, at St. Catherine Laboure Catholic Church, 4000 Derry St., Harrisburg. Burial will be in Holy Cross Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Catherine Laboure Catholic Church or to the Furry Friends Network.
