Michael Joseph Stepp, 61 of Harrisburg entered into eternal life Tuesday, October 20, 2020. He was an employee of Roman Mosaic and Tile Company for 30 years and a former member of St. Catherine Laboure Parish.
Mike was the son of Herbert (late) and Helen Stepp. In addition to his Mother, he is survived by his loving wife, Karen, of 41 years, their daughter, Jessica and her husband, Robert and his two grandchildren, Ella and Charles, who were his pride and joy. He’s also survived by two brothers, Herbert Stepp and wife RaeAnn, Donald Stepp and wife Sharon and two sisters, Theresa Mull and husband Ronald, Susan Speese and husband Richard, along with several nieces and nephews and their families.
Mike loved baseball and was involved with the American Legion Post 998 and Lawnton Twilight where he accomplished many personal achievements and made lifelong friends. Once he hung up his cleats, he dedicated his time to coaching. He coached many local area teams, notably Central Dauphin East High School for 15 years and Harrisburg RBI for 9 years.
Through all of his accolades over the years, he most enjoyed being with his beautiful wife, especially when they were together with their grandchildren. His legacy will live on through all of those he has impacted and will be forever missed.
In accordance with Mike’s wishes he will be cremated and his remains will stay with his family. A celebration of his life will be held at a later date to be release by his family.
