Peter was wonderful to work with at Whitaker Center for Science and the Arts. His volunteering was greatly appreciated. He enjoyed helping around the science store and showing kids and parents how different toys worked. I will miss him and his funny stories, he always made me laugh as I always tried to make him laugh too. Thoughts and prayers are with Peter, his friends and family.

Pete was a kind compassionate man who lived his life with great courage. Although he had to face more adversity than most ever know, he was also blessed to have parents and brothers and sisters who loved him and stood by him through it all. I pray he is at peace at last. Condolences to all the Abell family.

My deepest sympathy to all of the Abell family. I was so sorry to hear about Peter's passing. While working with Peter at J&J I was lucky to be part of his life. He was the best friend anyone would want - caring, supportive, compassionate, kind, and considerate. Your loss is my loss too. You lost a very important person in your family and I lost one of my best friends. My thoughts and prayers are with Peter and the family.

I only had the pleasure of getting to know Peter for a short time before he went into the hospital and after he came home i got to talk to him on the phone when he called to ask a question at the desk.I will miss him. Now he is free of any pain and any burdens that he had. I hope there is a big sandy beach for Peter to walk along now that he is in the graces of his heavenly father. He will be missed by everyone at Grayson View....

To Peter's family-- I send my sympathies on the loss of your brother and uncle. Whenever I would see Peter at an Abell family event I always enjoyed my interactions with him. He always had a smile and a friendly welcome for me. He was a very nice man. I am sorry for your loss. May he rest in peace and may your family find comfort in recalling the happy times you had the oppurtunity to spend together. Your are in my thoughts and prayers.
