Phyllis J. Reagan, 85, of Paxtang, passed away peacefully on Saturday, September 28, 2019, at the Penn State Hershey Medical Center. She was born in Brush Valley, Pa., on December 23, 1933, daughter of the late Martin and Phoebe Janoscrat.
Phyllis was a graduate of Camp Hill High School, Class of 1952. She was a former employee of the Bell Telephone Company and PHEAA. She was an original member of Holy Family Catholic Church where she served in the Mary Maids and as a lector.
Phyllis enjoyed gardening, cooking, puzzles, decorating, diary writing, bowling, spending time with her grandchildren, watching Jeopardy and family vacations at the seashore. Growing up she helped on her family farm. She was dearly loved by her family and friends and cherished being with them. Phyllis was a loving wife and mother, whose life revolved around her family, and she will be deeply missed.
Surviving are her husband, Joseph E. Reagan of Paxtang; three sons, Andrew J. of Paxtang, Joseph R. of Steelton and William E. and his wife Melanie of Downingtown, Pa.; one daughter, Cecilia A. Johnson and her husband Richard of Wellsville, Pa.; three sisters, Martha Schaar, Elizabeth Musselman of New Jersey and Agnes Janoscrat; six grandchildren, Kathryn, Thomas (Slade), Emily, Nicholas, Benjamin and Patrick. She was pre-deceased by four brothers and six sisters. Phyllis had many nephews and nieces.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:30 a.m. on Friday, October 4, 2019 at Holy Family Catholic Church, 25th and Berryhill Streets, Harrisburg. Visitation will be at 10:30 a.m. prior to the Mass in the Church. Burial will be in Resurrection Cemetery, Harrisburg. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Phyllis’ memory to the Kidney Foundation of Central Pennsylvania, 900 S.
