Robert S. Mayberry Jr., 65, of Harrisburg, passed away Monday, January 27, 2013. Born November 12, 1948, he was the son of the late Robert and Jean (Holtzapple) Mayberry, and was an employee of Yingst Home Incorporated. Robert was a 1966 graduate of Central Dauphin, and a United States Navy Veteran and was a avid fan of dirt track racing. Surviving is his lovely companion of many years, Beverly J. Gamble, three sons, David S. Mayberry of Tucson Arizona, Michael S. and wife, Brenda Mayberry of Linglestown, Douglas S. and wife Jill Mayberry of Colonial Park; and seven grandchildren. Celebration of life will be held 11:00AM Friday, January 31,2013 in the Neill Funeral Home, 3501 Derry Street Harrisburg with Rev. S. Ronald Parks officiating. Visitation will be from 10:00 AM to time of service. Burial will be private.
