

Ronald L. Bamberger, 80, of Lakeland, FL, passed away Sunday July 5, 2015 at the Masonic Home in Elizabethtown, Pa. He was born August 13, 1934 in Middletown, Pa, he was the son of the late John and Florence (Painter) Bamberger; and preceded in death by his wife Betty Lou (Miller) an infant daughter, Cynthia.
Ron was a United States Navy veteran serving in the Korean War; former member of St. Peters Lutheran Church ; Member of the Tall Cedars of Lebanon #43; Shriners of Wilmington Delaware Prince Edwin Lodge # 486. He loved to travel in his motor home; he was a self-employed entrepreneur in real estate; liked bowling and loved golf. He was known by all to be friendly and energetic but the thing he was proud of was his family.
Surviving are his children a daughter Cindy L. and husband Steve Kerstetter of Mill Hall, PA.; his son Craig L. and wife Mimi Bamberger of Bedford, NH; four grandchildren Crystal R. Schreffler, Kayla M. and Kelsey M. Kerstetter and Charlotte Bamberger; and a great-grandson, Ethan Schreffler.
A Celebration of Ron’s life will be held at 11:00 am Saturday July, 18, 2015 in St. Peters Lutheran Church, 121 North Spring Street, Middletown, PA. Visitation will be from 10:30 to time of service in the church.
Burial with full military honors will be at Middletown Cemetery.
