Ronald E. Rowe

He was born November 28, 1934 in Harrisburg; he was the son of the late Lester L. and Edith M. (Marlin) Rowe Sr.; and preceded in death by his wives, Flora F. (Traino) Rowe and Judith (Janovich) Rowe; grandson, Joshua J. Rowe; 3 brothers, Lester Jr., Jack and Robert Rowe; and sister, Lois Whitcomb.

He is survived by 2 sons, Ronald E. "Rusty" Rowe Jr., (Barbara), of Enola and Dennis J. Rowe, (Christine), of Mechanicsburg; 4 grandchildren, Brandon C. Rowe, Jessica E. Shertzer, Allison E. Rowe and Sean T. Rowe; and 2 great-grandchildren, Jaxon J. and Ava E. Shertzer.

Ron was a retired employee from the former Stroehmann Bakery and a member of the Progress-Immanuel Presbyterian Church, the former Olivet Presbyterian Church, both church choirs and the Teamsters Union Local # 776.

Ron was an avid golfer and bowler, and he was a loving father and grandfather.

Funeral Service will be held 11:00 AM Thursday, January 26, 2017 in the Neill Funeral Home, 3501 Derry St., Harrisburg. Burial will be in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens. A viewing will be held 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM Wednesday, January 25, 2017 at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Progress-Immanuel Presbyterian Church, 3640 Ash St., Harrisburg, PA 17109.
