

Rose Michaelle Swinehart, 71, of Harrisburg, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, October 8, 2019, in her home. Born February 14, 1948, in Shamokin, she was the daughter of the late Dominic and Margaret (Elliott) Dambrosia.
She is survived by her husband of 46 years, Frederick M. Swinehart; two sons, Peter J. Swinehart and Frederick (Rick) M. Swinehart (wife Ericka); two daughters, Caryn E. Tyrrell (husband Peter) and Kristen M. Fenner (husband Casey); twelve grandchildren, Alexander, Elizabeth, Stephanie, Meghan, Dominic, Reese, Casey, Paige, Jude, Liam, Anneliese, and Rory; a brother, Philip Dambrosia, and two sisters, Margaret Anne Burns and Maureen Duzick. She was preceded in death by her brother, Joseph Dambrosia, and her sister, Mary Carole Hiles.
Rose Michaelle was a registered nurse who worked and enjoyed spending time with children, the elderly, and those with special needs. She had a special place in her heart for her grandchildren who adored her greatly. She was also an active member of St. Catherine Laboure Catholic Church, Legion of Mary, Arimethean Ministry, Eucharistic Adoration, and a former CCD teacher. She was a servant of our Lord and dedicated to her church for many years.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday, October 14, 2019, at 11:00 am, in St. Catherine Laboure Catholic Church, 4000 Derry Street, Harrisburg. Burial will be in Holy Cross Cemetery, Harrisburg. A viewing will be held Sunday, October 13, 2019, 5:00-7:00 pm, in the Neill Funeral Home, 3501 Derry Street, Harrisburg, and at 10:00 am, on Monday, October 14, 2019, in the church, until the time of service.
