Born May 2, 1938 in Raven Run, she was the daughter of the late Michael and Agnes (Gensure) Fatula; adoptive father Albert Fatula. She was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Donald E. Keiser; and a brother, Thomas Fatula.
Surviving are her son, Donald J. Keiser (Stephanie), Daughter, Debra A. K. Rietmulder (Joseph); five grandchildren, Lyndi Janny (Kyle), Megan Smeigh (Andrew), Nicole Ledford (Seth), Steven Rietmulder (Sarah) and Tori Kye Slonaker (Quinn); 11 great-grandchildren, Hayden, Autumn, Molly, Hudson, Morgan, Harper, Mya, Kora, Nolan, Landon and Micah; and her brother, Michael Fatula (Evelyn).
Rosemary was a retired Registered Nurse for Harrisburg Hospital and a Nursing Supervisor for the former Leader Nursing Home.
She was a member of St. Catherine Laboure Catholic Church.
Rosemary was a sports enthusiast. She loved watching her beloved Steelers, Phillies and Flyers. She loved keeping her scorebook when the Phillies were playing. Even more than watching her professional teams, Rosemary loved watching her grandchildren play all of their sports. Over the past several years, she got the bonus pleasure of watching her great grandchildren play their soccer, t-ball, softball and basketball games.
Rose and Don enjoyed vacationing. She cherished their trip with friends to Branson. They enjoyed taking cruises, trips to the Finger Lake Region as well as trips to tour the covered bridges of PA. The most significant vacations were trips to the Jersey Shore. For over 5 decades an annual “shore trip” occurred. Rose would spend the day with her parents, children and grandchildren, while taking in the ocean breeze. Nothing made her happier than watching the sun set over the bay, with laughter echoing from the dock.
Rosemary had a soft spot for animals; as was evident by her feeding the deer, rabbits, squirrels, birds and any other strays. She deeply missed her precious Hamilton who was her partner for 15 years.
