Samuel Matos Ramos, 82, passed away on Monday December 8, 2025. Samuel was born the son of the late Sotero Matos Ramos and Juana Ramos Algarin on June 11, 1943, in Rio Grande, Puerto Rico. Samuel enjoyed playing guitar and cuatro, playing cards, playing baseball, watching baseball, riding his bike, playing dominoes, watching National Geographics and being with his family. He is survived by his daughter Sandra Matos, stepchildren; Angel Gonzalez, Adelina Gonzalez, grandchildren; Keylynne Matos-Cunningham, Darius Michael Waters, Daren Samuel Waters, Elajé Gonzalez (wife Ashia Gonzalez), Blake Gonzalez, great granddaughter Ora Gonzalez, mother of children Margarita Bosques, companion Nereida Santiago, and sisters; Ileana, Olga, and Nereida. Samuel was preceded by his brothers Martin and Domingo and great granddaughter Ava Gonzalez. A viewing will be held at Neill Funeral Home on Saturday December 20, 2025 3501 Derry St Harrisburg, PA from10:00am-11:00am, followed by a funeral service at 11:00am.
