She was born February 19th, 1945 in Lebanon, PA, a daughter of the late George Millovich and Dorothy Yeagley. Sandy loved crafting, beadwork, spending time with her dearest friends at Miss Judy’s paint class on the river, reading and poetry, watching science fiction and storytelling. She had a story for every season. She was always there with a listening ear and devoted her life to her family – who were her world. She was funny and witty, and called herself a black cat with nine lives. Even in her battles, she preserved and triumphed over so many hurdles. She was our Mom, our wife, our sister, our G.G., our Nanny, our Nana, our friend, and our one and only Sandy.
She is survived by five brothers, George, Tom, Rodney, Ron and Bruce, and two sisters, Cindy and Terri Ann, her husband Lewis LaMarca, their two daughters, Susan (married to John) Vajda, Michelle (married to John) Hartman, and her nephew Michael Miranda, who was like a son to her. She was blessed to have 8 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren and is a part of a large and wonderful family who loves her so much. And so loved, we will never lose her, as she is so much a part of us.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, February 26th at 11 am at St. Matthews Catholic Church, 607 Stoney Creek Drive Dauphin, PA. 17018, with a viewing 1 hour prior to the service. She will be laid to rest at Resurrection Cemetery in Harrisburg, PA.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to St. Matthews Capital Campaign, 607 Stoney Creek Dauphin PA 17018.
