Sophie Nicholas

Sophie Nicholas, 95, of Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, died on March 31, 2026. Born September 24, 1930, in Chicago, Illinois, Sophie was the third child of the late Constantinos Angelacos and Stella (Sotiropoulos) Angelacos. She was preceded in death by her parents and brothers, Soto and John Angelacos. She is survived by her husband, Nikos Nicholas; three children, Stephanie Kaldes (and husband William Kaldes), Drake Nicholas (and wife Jan Nicholas), and Terese Grant (and husband James Grant); five grandchildren, Jennifer Solomon (and husband Eric Solomon), Jessica Kaldes, Taylor Nicholas (and wife Libby Nicholas), Alexa Regan (and husband Seth Regan), and Elizabeth Rawitz (and husband Alex Rawitz); and four great-grandchildren, Kasey Solomon, Troy Solomon, Rory Nicholas, and Graham Nicholas.

Sophie and her husband, Nick, owned the Little Ritz Café and Harris House Tavern until they retired.

Sophie was an active member of the Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church. She was also involved in the Daughters of Penelope, St. Joachim and Anna, and Philoptochos Societies.

A viewing/visitation will be held at Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Cathedral, 100 Yverdon Drive, Camp Hill, PA, on Tuesday, April 7, 2026, from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM, followed by the funeral service at 10:30 AM.
