Stanley T. Dubelle

Born April 20, 1932 in Washington, PA; he was the son of the late Stanley T. Sr. and Verna (Passo) Dubelle; he was preceded in death by his wives, Nanciann Gashel, Jane D. Dubelle and Pierrette Dubelle; and 2 sisters, Helen Furbee and Alice Mousetis.

Surviving are 2 sons, David C. Dubelle (Joyce) and Thomas A. Dubelle (Tammy); daughter, Susan J. Dubelle; 6 grandchildren, Lauren Beach (Bryon), Chelsea Dubelle, Jonathan Dubelle, Katie Conrad (Ben), Eric Stepnowski and Laura Stepnowski; and 2 great-grandchildren, Sawyer Beach and Silas Beach.

Stanley was a retired Superintendent for the Wilson School District. He served in the U. S. Army. He taught and coached in the Trinity School District in Washington, PA. He coached 8 state wrestling champions. Stan authored 2 books and co-authored 2 books. He was a graduate of F & M University, earned a Master’s degree at West Virginia University and a PhD at Penn State University. He loved gardening and achieved Master Gardener status. He was inducted into the PA Sports Hall of Fame.

Funeral Service will be held at 10:30 AM Saturday, March 23, 2024 in the Neill Funeral Home, 3501 Derry St., Harrisburg. A private burial will be in Laureldale Cemetery, Reading, PA. A viewing will be from 9:30 AM Saturday until the time of the service at the funeral home.
