Stephen passed away Monday, June 27, 2022 at the Hershey Medical Center. He was born August 4, 1956 in Harrisburg, PA. He was the son of the late Floyd B. Feathers and Anna M. (Pangallo) Feathers. He is survived by his wife: Robin Prifer-Feathers; his three sons David Feathers (Ellika), Zachary Feathers (Barbara), and Matthew Feathers; his grandchildren Bjrn, Blake, Maverik, Beau, and future granddaughter, Estelle; and brother, David Feathers (Janet). Stephen Feathers, CPA, worked as a Director of Tax for TaxMatrix. Prior to his time at TaxMatrix, Stephen was a civil servant for the State of Pennsylvania working in the Department of Revenue. Stephen received his Bachelors of Science in Professional Accountancy from The Pennsylvania State University and his Masters of Taxation from Villanova University. Stephen was an active member of St. Catherine Labouré. He often enjoyed hunting with his family and was an avid outdoor enthusiast. Stephen had a charismatic personality and knew how to light up a room when he walked in. Stephen was a family man and loved his family above all else. He coached his boys' baseball teams through the years and transitioned to Scout Master while his sons were in Scouts. Stephen enjoyed playing with and making memories with his sons and their children. He taught them to be wonderful fathers and was a role model for his whole family. Stephen was an active community member where he spent countless hours volunteering with Boy Scouts of America, coaching baseball, and participating as the booster treasurer for the Lower Dauphin Football and Swim Teams. The viewing will be held from 6:00-8:00PM on Friday, July 1, 2022, at Neil Funeral Home located at 3501 Derry St., Harrisburg, PA 17111. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, July 2, 2022, at 10:30AM at St. Catherine Laboure Church, 4000 Derry St., Harrisburg. A viewing will be held Saturday at 9:30 AM at the church until the time of the service. He will be laid to rest at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens.
