

Dr. Teh Shee Lee, 80 of Harrisburg, PA passed away peacefully at home on June 2, 2015. He was born on November 23, 1934 to Shi Shu and So Wu Lee in Hsinchu, Taiwan. Teh Shee graduated from the National Taiwan University in 1957 and then the University of Pittsburgh with a Doctorate in Civil Engineering in 1973. He was the Director of Research for the National Laboratory of Taiwan and was part of a team that designed the Shihmen (Stone Gate) Dam, one of the largest dams in Taiwan. In 1973, Teh Shee started work for the Department of Environmental Resources for the State of Pennsylvania until his retirement in 1996. Education was very important to Teh Shee and in his spare time taught at Penn State University.
Teh Shee is survived by his wife, Feh-Lih Lee, his three sons, Tzuo-Zen (Corinne) of Harrisburg, PA, Tzuo-Yi (Robert Chagrasulis) of Bridgton, ME and Tzuo-Li (Wanda) of Landenberg, PA, his three granddaughters, Alison, Rachel and Aniela and his sister, Shi Lee Chang of Taipei, Taiwan. Teh Shee was preceded in death by his sisters, Ray Lee Wu and Wan Lee Lin both of Taipei, Taiwan.
Teh Shee enjoyed traveling and has ventured to various parts of the world. His pride and joy was spending time with his grandchildren and watching them mature into young adults.
Visitation will be Monday, June 8 at 10:00 AM and the Funeral will begin at 11:00 AM at Neill Funeral Home, 3501 Derry Street, Harrisburg, PA 17111. Burial will follow the services at Woodlawn Memorial Garden, 4855 Londonderry Road, Harrisburg, PA 17109.
