Theodore "Ted" W. Harrer

Theodore W. Ted Harrer, 71, of Harrisburg, went to be with his Lord and reunited with his wife, Paula L. Harrer, Thursday, August 4, 2022. Surviving is a son, Todd Harrer (Ashley) and daughter, Jill Lerew (John); and grandchildren, Brandon Harrer, John (Jett) Lerew III, and Jade Louise Lerew. Ted was the owner and operator of Perry Eye Center; after closing in 2017, he continued to work for Vision Works, Mechanicsburg. Ted was passionate about his profession and loved interacting with his patients and co-workers. Ted loved life and always kept very active. He never slowed down and loved to keep busy. His family and friends meant the world to him; seeing them was something he loved to do. He also enjoyed tending to his plants and flowers. He always dressed sharply and loved to shop. A Memorial Service will be held at 8:00 PM, Thursday, August 11, 2022, in Neill Funeral Home, 3501 Derry St., Harrisburg.
