Thomas Edward Bell

Thomas Edward Bell (Pap Pap), 63, of Harrisburg, PA, passed away on Wednesday, August 24, 2016. Born October 24, 1952, in Harrisburg, he was the son of the late Theodore and Joanne (Herman) Bell. He was preceded in death by his sister Donna (Bell) Verbos. He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Louise (Zaring) Bell. Thomas was a 1970 graduate of Bishop McDevitt High School and was retired from PA Truck Lines and Goodwill Industries. He was an avid Notre Dame football fan and enjoyed working in his garden. Most importantly, he enjoyed spending time with his grandson. He also looked forward to a yearly vacation to the beach with his family. Thomas is survived by two children, Kimberly Bell of Harrisburg, and Jessica (Bell) Garcia and her husband Oscar, and one grandson, Lorenzo Thomas Ubaldo Garcia, all of Mechanicsburg. He is also survived by several loving nieces and nephews.

The visitation will be 6:00-9:00 PM on Tuesday, August 30, 2016, at Neill Funeral Home, located at 3501 Derry Street, Harrisburg. The Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, August 31, 2016, at St. Catherine Laboure Parish, 4000 Derry Street, Harrisburg, PA 17111. Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions may be made to St. Catherine Laboure Parish.
