Thomas J. Bowers, 71, of Marysville, passed away Sunday, July 31, 2011. He was the son of the late Thomas D. and Melva Lehman Bowers. Tom graduated from Susquenita High School and was a proud starter for the football team. He served with the Air Force for 4 years traveling to Okinawa. He was a Jr. Analyst for the FBI and later managed a Handy Market store. He was also employed with Conrail and New York Life Insurance Company. He was an official with the PIAA, Central Penn Chapter for 30 years.
Tom is survived by a daughter, Susan Doudrick, of Marysville, a son, Scott Bowers, of Hershey, 3 grandchildren, Jordan Doudrick, Jonathan and Brendan Bowers.
Services for Thomas J. Bowers will be held on August 13, 2011, from 4:00pm to 7:00pm at Bethany United Methodist Church, 400 Lansvale Street, Marysville, PA 17053. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Central PA, 1320 Linglestown Road, Harrisburg, PA 17110.
