It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Victor “Vic” Gerald Lombardo (81) from Lancaster, PA. After a brief illness, he passed away on Tuesday, March 26, 2024, at the Hershey Medical Center. Born on August 25, 1942, in Yonkers, NY, he was the son of the late Victor J. and Mary (Cazzolla) Lombardo. Vic was raised in Lancaster, spent many years living in Altoona, and the past years living in the Harrisburg area. Victor had a great love for his family and friends. He was the proud owner of the Maytown Shoe Company and was a respected shoe consultant, specializing in fine leather footwear. Victor's zest for life was evident in his passions. He cherished moments with family, embraced adventure as an extensive traveler, and found peace in the great outdoors. Victor is preceded in death by his sister, Marie Butz (Clyde). He is survived by his significant other, Carolyn Hubert; Sister Jane Burger (Tom); his six children, Tonya Bergstrom (Steve), Tara Landon (Doug), Christa Stofferahn (Shaun), Victoria Smith (Josh), Marisa Lombardo (Justin), Victor Lombardo (Amanda); his three step children, Mark Shafer, Kim Snyder (Brian), and Deb Shultz; his seven grandchildren, Wells, Toby, Millie, Skyler, Charlotte, Madison, and Evelyn. Victor attended Good Shepherd Catholic Church, Camp Hill. In honoring Victor's life, a private service will be held at the convenience of the family.
