WILLIAM C. GOODYEAR, SR., 79, passed away Thursday, August 7, 2014. Born August 20, 1934, he was the son of the late David W. and Alice E. Goodyear. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, David C., Jacob, Hoover E., and Arthur S. Goodyear. He was a lifetime member of the Oberlin Fire Company and Company 49, and a lifetime member of the Dauphin County Fire Association. He retired from Robbins Dorr & Sash Company. He is survived by his wife, Audrey (Willman) Goodyear; his sons, William C. Goodyear, Jr. of Oberlin, and James A. Goodyear and his wife, Vickie, of Highspire; 4 great grandchildren; and two brothers, Robert, of Georgia, and Richard, of Florida. A visitation will be held in the Neill Funeral Home, 3501 Derry Street, Harrisburg, on Tuesday, August 12, 2014, 6:00 - 8:00 pm.
