Yolanda A. Levan

Yolanda A. Viani LeVan, age 96, of Paxtang passed away on November 25th, 2019, surrounded by her loving family. Yolanda was born on July 9, 1923, in Harrisburg, Pa., and graduated from Bishop McDevitt High School in 1941. A beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, she left a legacy of love and devotion to her family. She was a priceless example of unconditional love and the anchor of the family. A faithful servant of God, she lived what she believed and planted kindness, devotion, and grace. Yolanda was preceded in death by her parents, Pauline(Krasnoselsky) and Dante Viani, her dear son, Donald R. LeVan, Jr., sister, Pauline Haverl, brothers, (Ret) Lt. Colonel Harry Viani, Arthur Viani, and Joseph Viani. She is survived by her devoted husband, Donald R. LeVan, daughters, Marie LeVan Lick, and Lisa Marsh Painter (Jeff), grandsons, Andrew L. Lick (Melanie), Johnny Marsh and Matthew Marsh and great granddaughter, Madeleine Grace Lick and generations of nieces and nephews, all of whom were her treasures. Yolanda, with her husband, are founding members of St. Catherine Laboure Parish, Harrisburg. She was the co-owner and “Sr. Nut” of Two-Nuts Confections; Past Secretary-Treasurer for LeVan Inc. Consulting Engineers; Executive Secretary, former Harris Savings and Loan; and Office Manager, Burroughs Corporation. She was a Past Board Member of Girl Scout Council of Central PA; member of Country Club of Harrisburg; Lower Paxton Township Sr. Citizens Club; Parish Council of Catholic Women; and the St. Catherine Laboure Coffee Cup. She was Past President of the former Altar Rosary Society and Past President of the Country Club of Harrisburg Clutter Club. She loved and cherished her Catholic faith, and had a strong and special devotion to the Blessed Mother and the Holy Rosary. She will always be remembered for her love and devotion to her family. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11:00 AM Friday, November 29, 2019 at St. Catherine Laboure Catholic Church, 4000 Derry St., Harrisburg. Burial will be in Holy Cross Cemetery. A viewing will be held from 10:00 AM Friday until the time of the service at the church.`
