Alan James Leach

Alan was born on July 16, 1960, in Miami, Florida. He is the son of Carole Cubbedge Leach and the late John Richard Leach.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by his loving wife and soulmate of 44 years, Cathy Pratt Leach. His daughters Lauren and Jenna, along with his brother Steve Leach and wife, Debbie, son-in-law, Philip and granddaughter, Afton.

Alan was most well-known for his deep, unwavering love for his family. His true passion was ensuring that everyone he loved was taken care of and would quite literally go to the ends of the earth to make that happen. His passing has left a void in the hearts of his family, friends, and many more whose lives were touched by him.

Alan served in the United States Air Force and was a Gulf War Veteran. He was a successful home builder and business owner for many years in Franklin, North Carolina. Alan continued his later career as a territory sales manager, where he built long lasting relationships. While he had many blessings in life, we do think he would agree that his four-year-old granddaughter, Afton Mary Skipp, is by far his greatest.

Those who knew Alan will remember him for his generosity, selflessness and strong work ethic, leaving a lasting impact on all who crossed his path.

Honoring his wishes, he will be cremated, and a memorial service will be held at a later date.
