Betty Lou Jones Rexrode

She was born in Harrisonburg on January 9, 1942 and was the daughter of the late Sam Richard and Olive Myrtle Webster Jones.

Betty graduated from Harrisonburg High School and lived the majority of her life in Rockingham County. She was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles and AMVETS.

She is survived by her children, Donald “Buck” Rexrode and companion, Bettina, of Verona, Rick Rexrode and wife, Carole, of Timberville, Fairlyn Moats and husband, Charlie, of Staunton, Randy Rexrode and wife, Kelli, of Jacksonville, Fl.; grandchildren, Samantha Shoemaker, Chris Kuster, Nikki Rexrode, Brittany Kislek, Dusty Rexrode, Hannah James and Heather Rexrode; and eleven great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald L. Rexrode, Sr. and a longtime companion, Paul Cash.

The family will receive friends 5:00-7:00 p.m., Saturday, October 31, 2015 at Lindsey Funeral Home in Harrisonburg.

A funeral service will be held 2:00 p.m., Sunday, November 1, 2015 at the Chapel of the funeral home with Pastor Tom Quick officiating. Burial will be at Beaver Creek Church of the Brethren Cemetery.
